Model and actress Camila Rebeca Morrone Polak was born in the United States on June 16, 1997. In the James Franco movie Bukowski, she made her acting debut. She also appeared in the 2018 Sundance Film Festival world premieres of the movies Death Wish and Never Goin’ Back.
The Argentine actor Maximo Morrone and Lucila Polak, better known by her stage name Lucila Solá, welcomed Morrone into the world in Los Angeles, California.
Shortly before Morrone was born, they relocated to Los Angeles, and they got divorced in 2006.

In 2015, Morrone received her diploma from Beverly Hills High School. Julia Polak, an Argentine-British pathologist, is her maternal grand-aunt.

In 2013’s Bukowski, a movie starring James Franco, Morrone made her acting debut. She made a comeback to acting in 2018 with the action movie Death Wish and co-starred in Augustine Frizzell’s debut feature film, Never Going Back. The latter movie, which was distributed by A24, had its world premiere at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Morrone stated that she would concentrate her career on acting rather than modelling after receiving roles in Daisy Jones and The Six.

Morrone was presented with the Rising Star Award at the San Diego International Film Festival on October 18, 2019.
