Ryan Terk, a director, author, producer, and editor, was born in Montreal, Quebec on December 12, 1998.

After concluding that film school wasn’t for him, he immediately started working as an editor and video technician for a film distribution company.

A year later, he started as a runner at a VFX company and worked his way up to production coordinator, most recently on Top Gun: Maverick.

His debut short film, There’s Nothing You Can Do, which recently won Best Canadian Short at the Pendance Film Festival, was written, directed, produced, and edited by him. He has always had a strong desire to develop his own creative work.
